When you need some added "oomph" in your day, try a sweet and nutty protein-rich Smoothie! Enjoy this Nutty Nooner recipe from The Little Black Book of Smoothies by Ruth Cullen.

Nutty Nooner
Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:
1 cup chilled vanilla soy milk
2 tablespoons peanut butter
6 chopped pitted dates, frozen
1-1/2 frozen bananas

Directions:
Pour vanilla soy milk into blender and add peanut butter, dates, and bananas. Blend at high speed until smooth.
